The new Kicks will reach Nissan dealerships later this summer in the US and Canada. Full pricing will be available closer to the on-sale date.
First-ever Kicks with AWD
Kicks S and SV grade are offered with optional Intelligent All-Wheel Drive, while SR Premium has it standard, providing additional confidence and control in many weather conditions and road surfaces1.
Kicks models with AWD add a “Snow” driving mode that adjusts the logic of the all-wheel-drive and vehicle dynamic control systems with tuning specifically intended for slippery surfaces. Yaw control using targeted brake application helps further ensure Kicks stays on the driver's intended line when cornering in snow or ice.
Robust design: Compact crossover makes a big impact
At first glance, the 2025 Nissan Kicks makes a strong impression with its bold and expressive design. The wide stance and fenders give way to a more rounded, protected cabin. Strong fenders and a distinctive shape define the lower half of the vehicle, compared to the cleaner upper body.
Kicks is equally striking from behind, with a subtle roof spoiler, and full-width LED taillights that divide the liftgate in two and wrap around into combination lights on the flared rear fenders.
Accenting the rocker panels is an intricate, three-dimensional shape – adding texture and visual interest to an area that otherwise can be overlooked on crossovers.
Moving inside, Kicks has an immediately modern and airy look. The interior was designed to counter the tough, robust exterior with a more cocoon-like sensation.
The dashboard features a dual-screen setup: one for the instrument meter, one for the infotainment system. The standard meter measures 7 inches, while Kicks SR Premium upgrades to an even more striking 12.3-inch unit with two display modes: A more traditional Classic and a more feature-rich Enhanced view. A new-design steering wheel features a flat bottom.
The centre console accommodates all of life's essentials with two cupholders designed around fitting a 30-ounce coffee tumbler and an enclosed storage compartment. Bottle holders in the doors are large enough to fit a 32-ounce Yeti® tumbler.
A first for Kicks, both rows of seats use Nissan's Zero Gravity™ seating design, helping distribute weight and pressure across the occupants' bodies for a more comfortable seating position to help reduce fatigue. The softer, more supportive design improves comfort and reduces the tendency for back-seat passengers' hips to slide down uncomfortably on longer journeys.
Kicks SR Premium uses sleek, touch-capacitive switches to operate the automatic climate control and features red-stitched accents throughout that lend the cabin a sportier feel.
An available powered panoramic sunroof brings additional light and airiness into the cabin. It features distinct buttons to open the glass or to operate the power shade, simplifying operation for drivers or passengers. A new-generation, thinner design means the sunroof intrudes less into headroom, with a new slide design that reduces wind noise.
More spacious, more functional
The 2025 Nissan Kicks was developed to optimize interior room for passenger comfort and cargo space, while maintaining a compact exterior size that makes driving and parking in the city a cinch.
For starters, it's roomier front and rear: Compared to the 2024 Kicks, front shoulder room has increased by a generous 43.1 millimetres, while rear-seat passengers enjoy an additional 22.9 millimetres of knee room and 38.1 millimetres more shoulder room, making road trips more appealing and more comfortable for those in the second row.
Kicks also facilitates adventure with a spacious, flexible cargo area. Total cargo capacity of up to 849.5 Litres with the seats raised or 1,699.6 Litres3 with them lowered is class leading. A small, hidden storage compartment is available below the trunk floor.
A flexible luggage board (SV and SR Premium grades) offers two levels for the trunk floor, so owners can optimize the cargo room they need. For instance, in the upper position it is easier to slide items in and out of the trunk, and there's a completely flat floor with the second-row seats folded. Meanwhile, with the floor in its lower position, significantly taller items can be carried.
At 1,023.6 millimetres, the cargo area opening is designed for easily stowing a stroller, golf bag or other long items. The low liftover height (under 711 millimetres) also reduces the strain of lifting heavy luggage into or out of the trunk.
Driver assistance for next-level confidence
Kicks offers an extensive array of intuitive driver assistance and safety features. Nissan Safety Shield® 3604Opens in a new tab. is standard across all grades and includes Intelligent Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection, Rear Automatic Braking, Blind Spot Warning, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Lane Departure Warning and High Beam Assist.
Kicks S and SV include Intelligent Cruise Control5 as standard. Kicks SR Premium adds even more convenience with ProPILOT AssistOpens in a new tab.,2 which adds steering assistance to help keep the driver centred in their lane, making highway driving simpler. Already offered on several other Nissan models, this is the first application of ProPILOT Assist on Kicks.
Other standard convenience features include Easy-Fill Tire Alert, which makes topping up tire air pressure simpler; Rear Door Alert6, which can notify the driver about potentially forgotten items; and Intelligent Driver Alertness7, which can warn if the driver's behavior suggests they may be fatigued. Kicks SR Premium adds Intelligent Around View Monitor8, offering a virtual 360-degree, bird's-eye camera view around the vehicle to simplify parking, avoiding curbs in the drive-through lane and other low-speed maneuvers.
Effortless infotainment
Kicks keeps everyone connected with intuitive infotainment and the ability to keep devices charged with up to 4 USB Type-C ports in the cabin (SR Premium only), plus a wireless device charging pad (SV and SR Premium) in the forward centre console.
In Kicks, a standard 12.3-inch colour touchscreen infotainment system greets occupants. Standard wireles Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ enable occupants to seamlessly connect their devices without plugging in9.
Kicks SR Premium also has a Bose® Personal Plus 10-speaker audio system that delivers crisp, lifelike sound throughout the cabin. Enhanced from the outgoing Kicks, the system adds headrest speakers for the passenger's seat in addition to the driver's seat.
Responsive, efficient powertrain
All Kicks grades employ a 2.0-liter inline-four engine rated for 141 horsepower and 140 pound-feet of torque, coupled to the latest generation of Nissan's Xtronic transmission. The powertrain delivers confident acceleration, including for highway passing, thanks to the responsive transmission and the engine's strong low- and mid-range torque.
Three compelling choices
The 2025 Nissan Kicks is offered in three compelling grade levels, S, SV and SR Premium, with one available Premium package and one available Sport Wheel Package, giving buyers the opportunity to select the Kicks that best fits their lifestyle.
